Why Capsaicin?
Capsaicin is the chemical ingredient inside chilis that make them hot. It makes an appropriate name for this business because...- Hot is a good thing to be associated with.
- We love that the name is non-generic and stands out.
- And the domain name was available (an important consideration these days)
Capsaicin replaces www.harveykane.com for several reasons - one being that the business is growing, and it will be less about Harvey Kane and more about the team. The name is generic enough that it can be used for web design, SEO, or any other business activities we choose to go into.
Harvey Kane
Harvey is the director of Capsaicin, and also the lead developer of Jojo CMS, and open source content management system.
Harvey's blog is www.ragepank.com - regularly updated with articles and news from the world of SEO. The Capsaicin blog differs from the RagePank blog in that it's written for website owners, not web developers.
The Capsaicin team
Harvey currently manages a small number of contractors to help get through the workload of creating websites, optimising websites, and developing Jojo CMS.This team will be growing in 2009 as the business continues to improve.
